PORTLAND, OR (February 3, 2015) – CarePayment® has recruited David Gamble II, a Nashville healthcare revenue cycle expert, as regional vice president of sales to help manage the company’s rapid growth. Gamble will be working with health systems, hospitals, physician practices and other providers in the Mid-Atlantic and portions of the South to improve patient financial engagement, a growing complement to clinical engagement anchored by CarePayment’s patient friendly financing programs featuring 0.00% APR for the life of the account.
Gamble brings extensive experience in helping healthcare providers optimize their revenue cycles. He previously was vice president of business development for Medical Reimbursements of America, which offers reimbursement optimization services that identify and recover additional revenue for hospitals and health systems. Gamble also co-founded and grew ProClaim, Inc. into the nation’s largest supplier of Medicare Part B billing and ancillary management solutions for nursing homes, long-term care facilities and other providers before selling it to PSS World Medical, which was later acquired by McKesson. Earlier in his career, Gamble headed sales and marketing for American HomePatient. He originally moved to Nashville in 1987 from his native Kentucky to oversee business development of The Stouffer Nashville Hotel & Resort, then part of Nestlé.
“David is a tremendous addition to our CarePayment team. His deep knowledge about improving the healthcare revenue cycle is matched by his drive to help patients get access to care and to ensuring providers are paid for their services,” says Craig Hodges, CEO of CarePayment.
Gamble holds a bachelor of science in business and general studies from the University of Kentucky. He is a board member and co-chair of the webinar committee of the Kentucky chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). He also is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) and American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM).
